yup
well this month I started my new job (Dakin Pioneer Valley Humane Society) and became single again. i got back into the gym and yoga, thus making me a much more pleasant gal. i had been a rotten tomato for the past month or two.
i am spending a little more time trying to figure out what exactly makes me happy, trying to relax a bit more. my goal for september is to work a lot less, like just 40-50 hrs/week.
i have a room full of foster kittens - whom are satisfying the crazy vibes my ovaries are randomly sending to the rest of my body. all the animals are doing ok. shay recently started a second drug for her heart disease. luckly she has promised to never die. lou is on a diet, not sure how it is working...the cats all like it as it was a switch from dry to canned food.
i am very attached to this kitten - Franklin. i am trying to talk my brother Trey into him. otherwise i am afraid i might do something stupid.
if you are my friend...assuming everyone reading this is...love and miss you

vt last night
Well, on the spur of the moment (little happens this way now with my calendar planning my life)...I went to Brattleboro, VT last night to gymnastics with Gabe. So, the coach/owner was helping me learn a back hand spring (obviously I am a novice because I don't even think I spelled that word right). I have not attempted such moves since high school.
Anywho, they teach a lot of kids and the way it was explained was that I sit back like I am sitting on the toilet then try to jump back over the lid. Oh if he only knew that he was totally speaking my language. I can only take that as I sign that I must go back.

self employeed
i am now a self employed woman. my new gig has been just fine for the time being. i am taking a big trip down south to visit homies at the end of May...everyone mark your calendars. me, the new car, the pups, and potentially the honey will be coming down for a 2 week southern tour. may 27th-is through june 12th-ish. start and end in rock hill...
mattie appears to be going deaf or has really decided to ignore me of late. shay was recently diagnosed with pretty significant heart disease (don't let her know). everyone else is status quo.
i need to get back to work, my boss (parker) is demanding a walk!
love, love

ice, ice baby...too cold
today I bought my first bottle of -20 degree, non-freezing windshield wiper fluid (note that when driving in snow or here any day you use a good deal of wiper fluid)
as you can guess, my inferior 'southern' wiper fluid is frozen and i get no response when i ask my little car to self-clean it's windshield.
2 days ago i bit it outside my house, i was not hurt and i thought, wow this is going to happen a lot i bet.
before she left, jenn gave me these awesome attachments that go on the bottom of your shoes to keep you from sliding...they rock when walking dogs at night in the freezing cold on icy sidewalks.
i also shoveled show for the first time yesterday...it was super similar to shoveling horse poo (memories of large animal rotations. ah), but it is a bit harder...then i realized that not shoveling your own snow means you are 'cared for'..man i need my man up here with me.
thats all i gots to say about the cold...shay and mattie are in heaven...chasing snow balls might be funnier than chasing tennis balls.

love gone wrong
so a handsome man was sitting on my lap, licking my chest and neck as i rubbed his body. we were both enjoying the office romance. we had just become friends the day before and all of this was going down in my office. he started to get rough with me so i called in a friend for relationship advise...then out of no where he bit the living @#Dlienk*& out of my hand.
blood everywhere, crime scene from the movies.
i am now unable to use my left hand and my lover Bingo the cat is slightly worse off.
no worries, i will still be able to have holiday fun with 1.5 hands.
wonder what my life would look like if i had become an accountant (hum)

My little angel's getting old
Shay: Still as cute and spunky as ever. Shay has an appointment with the Internist for a bronchoscopy on Nov. 13. In a playing fit in the backyard last month, she hurt her good leg (tore the cruciate ligament). She had surgery for a the same injury in the left leg a couple of years ago..thats why the right one was the good one. So, she is pretty gimped up right now. We talked to the surgeon about repairing the knee...but first we have to figure out what is going on with her lungs....Shay is pretty sad that she doesn't get to go on walks with her sister and brother...but after Parker and Mattie go on their walk...shay gets a special solo walk just slightly down the street. This is a picture of Shay in the dirt hole that was built to store the balls. I am sure Shay is guarding the balls which she cares nothing about from Mattie!
Slim and trim
Parker: Parker is looking hot to trot. We go on walks almost every day...he has a little girlfriend (~10 years old) up the street that loves him (her last name is Parker so she thinks it is really funny that I call him Mr. Parker which is the name of her dad). Last night we were walking (since it gets dark early all of our walks are at night) and Parker walked/hopped right onto a cat. In the second I had to process the situation I thought it must be a dead cat because Parker is barking at it and lounging within 1/2 a foot....it then started to slowly walk off and I realized that Parker just walk upon a skunk and was literally trying to get the critter which was within arms length. In this milli-second I thought for-sure the skunk was going to spray us all (Park, Mat, and me)...but the cool skunk just wobbled off as Parker had a fit to get at it. Moral of the story...Mr. Parker is the same old fool he always has been!
